Dorothy M. Kresge, 86, of Sebring went to be with her Lord on Sunday evening January 20, 2013. Dorothy was born on December 24, 1926 in Perkasie, PA to parents Amelia (Dise) and Harvey Kramer. She moved to Lake Placid in 1979 from PA and spent the last 8 years of her life at the Palm of Sebring where she made many new friends. Dorothy enjoyed square dancing, camping, the social events at the Palms and being with the staff who made her feel right at home. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church lake Placid. Mrs. Kresge is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years Wilson and daughter Linda Barndt. She is survived by her loving daughter Cheryl Kresge of Othello, WA, two grandchildren, Peter Barndt, LCDR,USN (Margie, LCDR,USN) of Kensington, MD and Erin Orlando (Mike) Manassas, VA; four great grandchildren; tow sisters, Ruth Grover and Marie Wilt; two brothers, Harold and Frank Kramer. Services to celebrate Dorothy’s life will be held 3:30 PM this Friday January 25, 2013 at the Palms of Sebring with Chaplain Cecil Hess Officiating.
